Here are some kind words from previous clients:
Thank you for providing us with excellent professional drawings that we have been able to use to enhance our house with 2 extensions over the past few years. And also for the very professional service while the builder and local authority inspectors were on site – you took all the hassle away for us and ensured that the builder provided a top quality outcome.
As you know we have another plan for our house when we save up the funds and we look forward to engaging you for this work as well. We are 2 very happy customers Jackie & Don Mc from Mickleover Derby
New construction and refurbishment work at the National School
Dominic Lock took over as the leading architect for the construction of a New Science Block and the redesign and refurbishment of parts of the original school buildings during 2003 – 2004. This was the first major building project at the school for several years and all of the staff and the school governors were keen to ensure that the works met all of their expectations.
Dominic established effective arrangements for full consultation with all key personnel at the school to see that their views were incorporated in the design wherever possible. Attention to detail throughout the project ensured that on completion, the project did meet with everyone’s wishes and expectations.
Throughout the construction phase, regular meetings involving the main contractor, the key sub-contractors, the Quantity Surveyor and the school enabled effective communication between all stakeholders. Dominic also ensured that there was full compliance with Planning Regulations.
Dominic’s attendance on site each week throughout the project ensured that any minor problems were identified and rectified quickly and effectively to the satisfaction of everyone. This ensured that the entire project ran to the agreed schedule and was completed within budget.
Throughout the construction phase and in the immediate post construction period, Dominic assessed the work with a keen eye and this ensured that potentially costly errors were avoided and that building snags were ironed out before the buildings were handed over.
There is no doubt in my mind that Dominic Lock proved to be the perfect example of a true professional in his field.
